If you doesn’t use Shopify Payments option, 2% transaction fee applies on Shopify basic plan. The only drawback I see with Shopify Payments, the stripe can only be use in US, UK & canada and if you’re outside US, UK & Canada, you’re bound to use any other payment gateway.
